Reviving Kintyre’s rainforest means helping fragmented woodlands become healthier, more connected, and resilient for the future. Through habitat restoration, natural regeneration, and targeted tree planting, we work to create wildlife corridors that link existing rainforest sites and allow species to move, spread, and thrive. By improving connectivity across the landscape, we can support biodiversity, strengthen ecosystems, and help these rare temperate rainforests recover over time.
Reviving Kintyre’s rainforest is also about strengthening the cultural connections people have with these landscapes. Through storytelling, oral histories, art, film, and photography, we celebrate the rainforest’s place in local heritage and inspire new ways for people to engage with and value these habitats.
